Building Web Services with ArcGIS Server and Java

Session Description:
This session will focus on creating Web services using the ArcGIS Server and the Java Web ADF, consuming these services with desktop and Web applications, and providing best practices for developing service-oriented architectures with ArcGIS Server 9.1 and 9.2. Demos will include configuring and creating catalogs of Web services for MapServer, GeocodeServer, GeodataServer, and GlobeServer as well as associated server object extension objects using the developer kit templates (9.1) and the Java Web Administrator (9.2); creating and configuring application Web services that exchange only simple native types; and creating desktop and Web applications that consume these Web services.
Audience: Java developers building applications utilizing the ArcGIS Server for Java service-oriented architectures.
