Session Description:
ArcGIS contains a comprehensive library of GIS components that .NET developers can use to embed GIS in existing applications and build custom Windows applications. This session will provide an overview for developing with the ArcGIS platform using the Microsoft .NET platform. The session will include such topics as extending the desktop application framework and building embedded ArcGIS Engine applications. The session will present design patterns, best practices, and other tips and tricks for getting the most out of the ArcGIS platform using .NET along with a look at some of the new features planned for ArcGIS 9.2.
