DS2008 - Working with the Geodatabase Effectively Using SQL
Description
Applications can interact with the geodatabase through SQL. Writing efficient SQL with spatial attributes requires an understanding of the data type’s architecture and operators. This session will introduce the audience to the st_geometry model, spatial index, and relational and geometry operators. It will also focus on a number of best practices and SQL syntax that ensure optimal execution and utilization of the spatial index.
