This session will describe the geodatabase and its role in providing data access to the ArcGIS system. Key concepts and an overview of the geodatabase architecture will be presented. You will learn the key elements of the geodatabase API; ways it can be used to access a variety of formats; and best practices and patterns for accessing and creating data, querying, editing, and data loading.
