DS2008 - PreConference Seminar: Developer's Guide to Geoprocessing
Description
This session is for developers who are new to geoprocessing and using the Workflows that can be accomplished with ArcGIS Desktop. This session will describe the geoprocessing framework with regard to using ArcGIS Desktop tools to complete GIS processes. The geoprocessing developer framework will also be covered to illustrate how to accomplish development tasks such as working with ArcObjects and ModelBuilder and creating custom tools. Best practices, design patterns for building new tools, and tools used to automate many GIS tasks will also be discussed.
