Session Description:
This session introduces quick nonprogrammatic ways to jump start an ArcGIS development solution. Users familiar with ArcObjects already know that there are many ways to get the job done. Some paths lead to writing volumes of code, whereas others follow the simpler route of configuring an application. Whether attendees are "code monkeys" or find themselves impatient, this is a session not to be missed. Patterns will be presented via a top 10 format that will help developers improve their productivity and reuse high-level ArcObjects and techniques to reduce debugging time. Examples will be implemented in .NET and Java and cover ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Engine, and ArcGIS Server.
