Session Description:
This session will help developers get a “leg up” in developing custom solutions by leveraging the ArcGIS data models developed within various user communities. The session will describe data model goals, processes, and workflows. The current models will be discussed including a case study of the Arc Hydro data model. This presentation will share practical experience in documenting GIS data models, integration of tools, and related lessons learned. Developers will learn about the conceptual, logical, and physical phases of design and will see how the data models, together with related tools, can be used as a foundation in building custom applications.
